Sudanese Refugee Becomes Successful Childcare Provider

Manal Elzeen, a Sudanese refugee, successfully sought out asylum in the United States and resettled in Fort Wayne, IN. Back in Sudan, Elzeen was a high school Economics and Accounting teacher. Here, she has successfully incorporated those skills into establishing her own home day care. Through hard work, she obtained all the certifications needed and with the federal home childcare grant, she was able to successfully open her new daycare.
