This article centers around a Congolese refugee named Adam Mugisho currently living in a Ugandan camp. He has been paralyzed since childhood by polio, but he has always had an entrepreneurial spirit. He started off by becoming a shoe repair man but learned electrical skills which allowed him to become a cell phone and radio repairman. Days after arriving in Uganda, he began repairing radios and cell phones again, and he has established himself as reliable and a high quality repairman among the refugees. He never lets his disability hinder his love of learning, and he advocates for increased education and technical training for refugees. Read more about his story here.
