| Annie's Store! |
Annie Gibson, a refugee from Liberia who first
moved to New Jersey but later resettled in Phoenix, started T.A. & G
African Market with her husband. By applying and receiving a loan from the
International Rescue Committee, she was able to pay for essentials such as a
freezer and a refrigerator. Her store provides all the essentials the African
Diaspora community needs. Looking forward, Annie hopes to increase the size of
her store and eventually establish a shipping company between West Africa and
the United States.
