Food by Program Participators! |
Kamal Sharma, a Burmese refugee, spent the
first four years of his time in the United States covering various small jobs. With
the dream of opening his own restaurant, he worked hard to accomplish just
that. Through the Spice Kitchen Incubator, a Utah program for refugees wanting
to be entrepreneurs in the food industry, Sharma spent six months learning how
to budget and manage cash flow as well as estimate the costs to pursuing his
endeavor. By the end of the program, he will be ready to start his own
successful restaurant.
